St. Vincent De Paul Society
Dedicated to serving the needs of the less fortunate in our community by assisting with rent, utilities, groceries and many other needs.
A group of St. Thomas More women who furnish the church with flowers, decorate the altar, take care of the church cleaning, and provide our community with wine and hosts for Mass.
The school participates in Project HOPE (Helping Other People Everyday). Each class partners with a different service organization to volunteer, visit or manage activities. Through a partnership with St Andrew Nativity, the school and parish work together on a uniform drive for the Nativity students, as well as Christmas gifts and Easter baskets for the students and their families.
Communion ministry is available for the sick, elderly and shut-ins. After being trained, individuals or teams take Holy Communion once a week to people in the parish who have requested such visitations.
Altar Serving is for both girls and boys entering the 4th grade. If you are interesting in serving our community as an Altar Server during are weekend Masses, contact the Pastoral Associate at the Parish Office. Training is provided and you will be place on a rotating schedule to serve.
An Extraordinary Minister distributes the Eucharist and Precious Blood to the faithful. Training is provided and
A Lector proclaims the Word of God. If you have a great speaking voice, we would love to train you as a Lector for our community. Training is provided and you will be put on a rotating schedule to serve.
As a sacristan your duties will be to prepare the church for liturgy. .A Sacristan arrives at the church a 1/2 hour prior to the beginning of mass. A list of duties is placed in the sacristy for you to follow. Training is provided and you will be put on a rotating schedule to serve.
